Cookies
This page lists every cookie this site can put on your device, what each one is for and how long it lasts. Nothing that needs your permission is set until you give it.
Your cookie choice
You have not made a choice yet, so analytics and marketing cookies are switched off.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are the cookies the shop cannot work without, so they are not subject to consent and there is no switch for them. Each row below says exactly why it qualifies. They are set by this site only, are not shared with anyone, and are not used to profile you or to advertise to you.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| moyoni_session | Keeps you signed in to your account as you move between pages.Without it you would be signed out on every page load, so your account, your order history and the checkout could not work at all. It is only written after you sign in. | 30 days | Moyoni (this site) |
| moyoni_mfa_challenge | Holds the half-finished sign-in for a few minutes while an administrator enters their two-factor code.Only ever written to a store administrator's browser, after they have entered a correct password and before they enter their authenticator code. It carries no tracking data and expires within five minutes. | 5 minutes | Moyoni (this site) |
| moyoni_cart | Remembers what is in your basket, including before you sign in.Keeping your basket is the function you asked for when you added an item, and there is no way to do it without storing something on this device. | 30 days | Moyoni (this site) |
| moyoni_orders | Lets you re-open the confirmation page for orders placed from this device. It is what stops a copied confirmation link showing your name and address to somebody else. Removing it would make the page less private, not more. | 30 days | Moyoni (this site) |
| moyoni_vid | Marks a review you have already voted on as "helpful".Written only when you choose to vote on a review — never on an ordinary visit. It cannot be read by scripts, is not shared with anyone, and does nothing except stop the same vote being counted twice, which is the function you asked for. | 180 days | Moyoni (this site) |
| moyoni_consent | Stores the cookie choice you made, so you are not asked again on every page.It records nothing except the choice you made here. If you delete it, nothing else is lost — we simply have to ask you again on your next visit. | 12 months | Moyoni (this site) |
Analytics cookies
These are only set if you turn analytics on above. Until you do, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so no request is made to Google and no cookie is created. If you turn analytics off, the Google cookies listed below are deleted from this device straight away. Refusing costs you nothing: the shop works exactly the same either way.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: tells one browser apart from another so that repeat visits are not counted as new people. | 2 years | Google (third party) |
| _ga_<measurement ID> | Google Analytics: keeps the state of your current visit for this site's property. The end of this cookie’s name changes with the Google Analytics property it belongs to, so the exact name you see will differ. | 2 years | Google (third party) |
Marketing and retargeting cookies
We do not use any marketing or retargeting cookies at the moment. If that ever changes, they will be listed here first and will only be set if you agree.
For how we handle your personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
